Review:

What a pleasant surprise!  This is my first book from this author, Ditter Kellen, but I can promise it won’t be my last! I was swept into the story from page one.  I’ve read a lot of paranormal romance and have not found a better “world” than the one she created for this story.

Abby is a wonderful character.  She’s smart, well educated and compassionate.  Her compassion was the first emotion she experienced when seeing the “dead” creature on her father’s exam table.  After discovering that the “creature” was not dead, she was determined to save him from an experimental lab in Area 51.

Hauke.  Hauke.  Hauke.  He has lungs, he has gills, fangs and poisonous barbs on his wrists and ankles. Part human, part fish and part vampire.  Wow.  A very unique hybrid.  He’s bigger than a human and exquisitely…male.  Sculpted like a god. If that isn’t enough to turn your head, he’s kind, gentle and very loving.  And…HOT!

Their journey to escape from government agents who want Hauke, because he isn’t human, and Abby because she knows too much, is a great adventure. They run and hide with the help of Abby’s Uncle Tony, an ex-CIA agent with the means and contacts to help them escape. Tony is a great character in his own right.

If you like paranormal romance…at all…I think you will fall in love with this story. Pick up a copy and discover the beautiful world of Hauke’s home in “the down below”, and…

Enjoy!
